Once we arrived at the office I took note that as usual there is a pile of equipment in the front of the conference room/NOC. We built out a whole new space next to our office that connects that included specifically controlled inventory storage and staging areas. This equipment should have been checked in properly and put into inventory. If it was urgent moved directly into staging. Instead it is piled up on the floor infront key showcase areas as well as visible from the front glass doors.

I had a non-Shartega call I needed to take. Nic had some general work/catchup and a scheduled call as well.

Nic and I dug into sales processes. In particular around this new lead he is working. He feels the process laid out isn't working for that lead. The lead only has 12 machines – and she wanted to kick tires for prices – and wasn't/doesn't seem serious about an onsite discussion/walk thru. We landed on sending pricing and a capabilities piece. We then started to dig through marketing materials and capabilities. We revised a capabilities piece, shortened it, went through the Roadmap software looking for screens we could take screenshots of to update the piece. Eventually used a stock visual that was in another capabilities piece and prepared it for Nic to send.

While looking at the Roadmap software it became clear something in it was not tracking right with all the work being done at the vCIO level – we need to follow up with Chris on this. (I did later that night and he started going in another direction with a better piece of software – but he refuted that data wasn't in there – so there must be a disconnect here – needs a follow up)

We discussed that messaging.

I will try to recreate a more complete sales pathway for Nic visually than what I put on the board and send it over for modifications and fine tuning.

I need access to the sales materials so I can share with Jordan.

We both had to leave after that, Nic had a family commitment, I had an outside commitment I needed to attend to.

Action Items:

Make some sales pathway maps – continue to refine with Nic.

Get Jordan access to Sales materials.
